Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Sustainability Reporting and Policy Analyst to drive ESG reporting and policy development. You will assess sustainability strategies, align with regulatory requirements, and support data accuracy for targets and progress across Ireland's water sector.

Work with internal stakeholders to deliver external reporting, benchmarks, and climate disclosures, while staying current with evolving frameworks and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualification and/or accreditation desirable.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the water, utilities or similar industries desirable.
• Experience in independently resolving customer challenges while maintaining high service standards.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities to produce accurate, clear narratives for a variety of audiences.
• Ability to develop effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders and listen to diverse perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sustainability data and content creation for Uisce Éireann’s external-facing communications in conjunction with the wider business.
• Work with stakeholders across the business to assist on data reporting requirements under sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Strong understanding of what is required from Uisce Éireann in relation to multiple reporting frameworks (SBTI, CSRD, TCFD, Social Value Impact, Carbon Accounting, etc).
• Stay up to date with reporting frameworks and standards, and relevant regulatory requirements as well as rating agency expectations; identify gaps and implement changes as necessary.
• Benchmark ESG performance against peers and industry trends and best practices.
• Interpret and analyse evolving ESG regulations and frameworks at local, regional, and international levels.
• Prepare regular ESG reports, including sustainability reports, climate risk disclosures, and other mandated submissions.
• Support the ownership of data accuracy around sustainability targets and progress reports.
• Analyse ESG reporting data and KPIs to identify trends and actionable insights for improvement.
• Champion Uisce Éireann’s commitment to sustainability, transparency, and responsible business practices.
• Assist in developing efficient and effective processes to support sustainability reporting compliance.
