Job summary

Uisce Éireann in Cork is seeking a Wastewater Compliance Analyst to support the Environmental Regulation function in day-to-day management of environmental regulation and compliance within the water network.

Reporting to the Regional Wastewater Compliance Manager, you will assist with sampling plans, data management in EDEN MDS, and liaison with Local Authorities, EPA and HSE to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in the water, utilities or similar industries.
• Ability to develop effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and proven track record in resolving complex issues.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Full Clean Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Wastewater Compliance Manager with key wastewater compliance issues and implement sampling plans.
• Support laboratory sampling services via Local Authorities or third party providers.
• Provide regular progress updates to Technical Leads and assist briefing papers.
• Help develop risk mitigation and action plans with operational teams.
• Contribute to Environmental Regulation business plans objectives and targets.
• Identify potential trouble sites from sampling data and escalate appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with HSQE procedures.
• Liaise with EPA and HSE to ensure regulatory sampling and reporting requirements.
• Upload and manage data in EDEN MDS and collate data for incident notifications.
• Support statutory reporting and teamwork across the department.
