Job summary

Occupli is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join an established and progressive organisation in Ireland. This permanent, full-time role offers leadership across multiple projects, driving best-in-class safety and sustainability outcomes.

The successful candidate will mentor junior colleagues, build trusted relationships across functions, and influence continuous improvement within a regulated environment, including audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in Environmental, Health & Safety role.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing or similar highly regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of EHS management systems and Irish legislation.
• Experience conducting audits, investigations and compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Environmental, Health & Safety programmes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with Irish EHS legislation and company standards.
• Lead incident investigations and implement preventive actions.
• Coordinate internal audits and support regulatory/certification audits.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Support sustainability initiatives and ESG objectives.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate EHS into delivery.
• Mentor junior EHS professionals and cross-functional teams.
