Job summary

University College Dublin invites applications for a Research Coordinator and Administrator to oversee two ERC Consolidator Grant projects, coordinating research activities, budgets, reporting and milestones within a diverse team.

You will manage external collaborators, organise conferences and workshops, support public dissemination including social media and websites, and ensure GDPR compliance and accurate narrative and financial oversight across the projects.

Qualifications

• Third level degree in area relevant to the role.
• Experience in research coordination/project management, including planning for milestones and results.
• Experience in budgeting and monitoring projects from start to finish.
• Experience in administration of multiple streams of work.
• Project scope, schedule and budget management skills.
• Exceptional communication and engagement skills, working with teams.
• Exceptional organisational and IT skills.
• Ability to work flexibly.
• Experience of working independently and using initiative for successful delivery.
• Awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion agenda.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate two ERC Consolidator Grant projects with clear structures and milestones.
• Provide project management, administration and recruitment support to the PI and team.
• Manage external vendors, data management, reporting and GDPR compliance.
• Organise conferences and workshops and support dissemination (social media and websites).
• Act as key contact for project teams and liaise with university departments.
