18 Months Fixed Term Part-Time Post (0.5 FTE)

Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitationis currently recruiting a Research Support Officer. CGR leads on, or is partner on, several large national and international research projects.

One key project is the AI4HOPE project. Funded by Horizon Europe, this is a multi-country study addressing palliative care needs for people with dementia. The study aims to improve the detection of distressing symptoms, and to explore the delivery via technology of non-pharmacological interventions that are known to improve symptoms when provided face-to-face or in groups.

The successful applicant will work within in Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation, under the direction of the Head of Centre. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated person with prior experience in providing research support to multi‑partner projects, and ideally in health research. The candidate will require excellent research administration, financial, and academic writing skills.
