As Programme Manager (Sales), you will play a key role in driving the continued growth and success of Event Partners Ireland (EPI). This position focuses on the strategic development and delivery of compelling event proposals and incentive programmes for both international and national clients. Your work will directly support EPI’s overall business objectives and contribute to achieving final targets. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of event programme development from initial brief through to final proposal and beyond. The role requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen, with a strong focus on delivering tailored solutions that exceed client expectations. The successful candidate will be welcomed into a strong and experienced team and will report to the Sales and Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of detailed, visually engaging proposals for corporate events, conferences, and incentive programmes
- Conduct in-depth research on destinations, venues, trends, and competitive offerings to enhance proposal quality
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EPI’s supplier base and continuously seek opportunities to innovate offerings
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive budgets in line with client requirements and company margin goals
- Develop and nurture strong client relationships through ongoing communication and bespoke proposal design
- Collaborate with internal teams (including Design and Marketing) to align proposals with EPI branding and messaging
- Report on proposal outcomes, conversion rates, client feedback, and opportunities for improvement
- Contribute data and insights for monthly and quarterly performance reporting
- Ensure all activities align with the strategic sales and growth targets set by EPI leadership
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling based on client needs and EPI capabilities
- Lead and support client interactions, including meeting facilitation and accurate minute taking. This role also involves attending in-person client meetings and organising familiarisation trips and site inspections.
- Prepare and review client contracts and statements of work prior to line manager approval and signature.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to distil complex data into actionable insights
- High level of creativity and innovation in proposal development
- Excellent writing and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with design software desirable
- Financially literate with the ability to build and manage proposal budgets
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tight deadlines, and changing priorities
- Commercial awareness and understanding of event ROI
- Experience working across international markets and understanding cultural nuances
- Fluent in English; additional languages (especially German) are an advantage
- Passion for the tourism and events industry
