Job summary

Stripe is seeking an Account Executive (Grower) to partner with innovative software platforms and show how Stripe's payments infrastructure can be a competitive advantage.

You will manage a named account list, build executive relationships, and own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—combining business insight with deep product understanding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience selling a technical product or service, preferably at an API-first company.
• Proven track record of leading complex, multi-party sales from inception to close.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to be a trusted resource across technology and finance.
• Ability to understand complex technical problems and position Stripe's solutions.
• Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements.
• Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
• Strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the software landscape.
• Fluent in English and Nordic Languages (Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian).

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop a named account list, building account plans to win and expand business with upper middle market and enterprise SaaS platform companies
• Build and maintain key relationships with C-level executives, orchestrating the right executive touchpoints throughout the sales cycle
• Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for upper middle market and enterprise accounts
• Work with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Finance to lead complex product workshops and financial analyses
• Craft and lead complex, bespoke commercial and contractual negotiations
• Contribute to shaping our platform partnership strategy and building repeatable processes and scaled engagement models
• Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
• Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help shape product strategy
