Job summary

ESB is seeking a Data Management Lead to embed data governance and data management practices across the organisation. You will drive the Data Management Strategy and Framework, oversee data quality and lifecycle management, and enable data as a strategic enterprise asset across business units.

You will work with data owners, stewards, tech teams and compliance to promote responsible data use, establish data products, and support analytics and AI initiatives at scale within ESB.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data management roles or equivalent
• Experience in implementing data governance and data management frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Knowledge of data ownership, stewardship and responsible data use
• Experience with AI governance and responsible AI practices

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continual evolution of ESB's enterprise data management framework and governance.
• Define accountability for data across the organisation and promote data domain ownership.
• Oversee data quality, metadata, lineage and lifecycle management with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify key data domains and data products for trusted data.
• Direct resource management for data initiatives ensuring delivery of outcomes.
• Monitor data management maturity and compliance with regulations, driving improvements.
