Job summary

PwC Ireland is seeking a Manager to lead data management and enablement initiatives, focusing on implementing Collibra as the firm’s Enterprise Data Catalogue. You will partner with Lines of Service, technology, risk, legal and global teams to strengthen governance, metadata management and data discoverability for analytics and GenAI.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in data management, governance, strategy or related roles.
• Experience leading implementation and adoption of Collibra or similar enterprise data catalogue.
• Experience in metadata management, taxonomy development, data ownership and onboarding of data assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, adoption and ongoing development of Collibra as the firm's Enterprise Data Catalogue (EDC), including roadmap, governance and success metrics.
• Design and embed the Collibra operating model with data ownership, stewardship, workflows, and platform governance.
• Define metadata standards, glossaries, taxonomies and minimum metadata requirements to improve data consistency and discoverability.
• Partner with LoS and business teams to onboard data assets and use cases into the EDC.
• Drive EDC adoption through stakeholder engagement, communications, training and monitoring of usage and value.
• Lead data strategy initiatives translating priorities into practical roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Develop project plans, manage scope, milestones, risks, issues and reporting across concurrent CDO initiatives.
• Embed data governance and lifecycle practices that support responsible data access and analytics.
