Job summary

Dexcom is seeking an Engineering Technician 3 in Ireland to support engineers by analyzing data across production lines. You will retrieve and analyze yield data, test electro-mechanical assemblies, and operate robotic systems.

Under supervision, you will assist equipment development, document results, and ensure safety procedures are followed. The role requires 5–8 years of related experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Minitab and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Typically requires Level 6/7 qualification with 5–8 years of related experience.
• Experience solving problems with structured methods (A3s, 5 whys).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents related to equipment.
• Experience writing routine reports and notes for cross-functional teams.
• Experience presenting information to engineers and managers.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and analyze engineering data such as yield performance results.
• Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
• Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Analyze and record test results, prepare written documentation.
• Perform operational tests and fault isolation on automated systems.
• Support equipment development under supervision of the project engineer.
• Update equipment documentation (manuals, drawings, specs) as needed.
