Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop a high-performing software engineering team in central Dublin. You will drive delivery of scalable, secure SaaS solutions while shaping technical direction and culture.

The role emphasizes mentoring, cross-functional collaboration with Product and Design, and a focus on customer value and continuous improvement. Hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, with demonstrated experience leading or managing engineering teams.
Strong hands-on full-stack development background and technical leadership.
Experience building, scaling and supporting large SaaS platforms or enterprise apps.
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration across product, design and tech.
Knowledge of secure SDLC and vulnerability management is a plus.
Product Owner experience or product-led development understanding advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing engineering team, creating clear development pathways and supporting individual career progression.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative and accountable engineering culture with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Work closely with technical specialists and wider business teams to design and deliver robust, scalable and resilient software solutions.
Provide technical leadership and contribute to engineering standards, technology direction and longer-term development priorities.
Partner effectively with Product, Design, Technology and other stakeholders to ensure engineering activities remain aligned with customer and business objectives.
Promote high standards across software engineering, including quality, scalability, reliability and maintainability.
Ensure engineering teams adhere to secure software development practices, appropriate security controls and vulnerability remediation processes.
Manage competing priorities across the engineering function while maintaining a strong focus on delivery, team performance and customer value.
