Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland seeks an experienced Quantitative Engineer to design and develop high-performance software solutions, quantitative models and scalable cloud-based applications within a growing SaaS environment.

You will architect and implement in C++, build modern tooling in TypeScript, and deploy on AWS, collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and performance optimisation.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native systems.
• Experience designing scalable APIs or microservices.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with Python for modelling or data processing.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD and Terraform.
• SQL and NoSQL databases knowledge.
• Agile software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance quantitative apps using C++.
• Build tooling using TypeScript.
• Develop scalable AWS cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements.
• Develop algorithms and data-driven functionality for SaaS.
• Optimise apps for performance and reliability.
• Contribute to architecture, design reviews and best practices.
• Support automated testing, deployment and monitoring.
