Job summary
Merck & Co., Inc. is offering an Internship in Engineering Maintenance in Carlow, Ireland. You will help ensure reliability of technical systems, develop maintenance concepts, and support asset registration with SAP PM.
This fixed-term role provides hands-on exposure to maintenance planning and cross-department collaboration. The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Maintenance Engineering, with GMP familiarity and strong English
Qualifications
- Eligible for a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation or Maintenance Engineering.
- Experience with maintenance concepts and GMP guidelines is preferred.
- Strong written and spoken English skills required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing maintenance objectives for technical systems.
- Develop maintenance plans, cost estimates, and spare parts lists.
- Enter maintenance plans into SAP PM and support asset registration.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Reliability teams across departments.
- Contribute to risk-based maintenance concepts and project alignment.
