Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Ireland invites an Engineering/Automation intern to join our onboarding program. You will help develop process control applications and support automation components across operating areas.

Responsibilities include daily support, compliance with GMP, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. ENrolled in an automation/engineering/IT program with strong analytical skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an automation/engineering/computer or other technical degree.
• PQ20 required skills are listed in the role description.
• Knowledge of data analytics, dashboards and reporting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop process control applications on automation platforms.
• Provide day-to-day support to operating areas for automation components.
• Ensure adherence to GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage user access reviews, backups and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with teams via daily Tier calls to address issues.
• Develop and support analytical dashboards for business needs.
