Job summary

Veolia Ireland is offering an Engineering Graduate Programme in Kilkenny starting September 2027. The programme blends on-the-job learning with formal education and regular reviews with HR and the Learning & Development Manager.

You will support process and electrical design teams on water and wastewater projects. This permanent role requires an NFQ Level 8 engineering degree, good communication, initiative and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• NFQ Level 8 degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• Ability to work on your own initiative within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, practical and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Support process commissioning and electrical design tasks within Veolia teams.
• Assist with design developments and procurement with guidance from senior engineers.
• Coordinate design activities across process, mechanical, electrical, automation and civil disciplines.
• Contribute to site surveys, start-up and commissioning activities across Ireland.
