Job summary

Veolia Group in Kilkenny is seeking a Project Engineer (Mechanical) to support small to medium upgrade works across water and wastewater facilities in Ireland. You will assist in design development from concept to detailed design and delivery, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams alongside the Project Manager.

• Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree in an Engineering (Mechanical) or Science Discipline.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in coordinating design/site activities and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delegated projects and issues.
• Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams (process/Mechanical/Civil/Structural/Electrical).
• Assist in design development from concept through to delivery and construction.
• Ensure equipment is sized, procured, delivered and commissioned per contract.
• Manage subcontractors and installation teams to meet schedule and budget.
