Job summary

Veolia Ireland is hiring Engineering Interns for its Kilkenny-based Technical and EICA division. You will work on projects related to WasteWater and Fresh Water Treatment Plants under supervision from senior staff.

As an intern, you will develop core engineering skills, support design and project activities, and gain hands‑on experience while learning Veolia procedures and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Studying a Mechanical Engineering Degree.
• Ability to work on own initiative and coordinate design/site activities.
• IT skills including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing detailed designs.
• Preparation of drawings using CAD & REVIT with BIM emphasis.
• Assist with design submissions with support from Design Engineers.
• Liaise with M&E, Civil & Structural Designers and the client.
