Job summary

Veolia Kilkenny is looking for a Process Engineer to work across M&E, Design, Clients and Consultants on water and wastewater projects. The role is hybrid with a Permanent contract and standard hours (Mon-Fri, 8:30–17:30).

You will design and size process elements, provide troubleshooting, liaise with clients and support site operations. Requires a degree in Process or Environmental Engineering and 3+ years' experience, plus knowledge of water and wastewater treatment and ability to work in

Qualifications

• Degree in Process or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a similar process engineering role.
• Broad knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Ability to design and size process elements.
• Strong numerical skills and use of mathematical tools.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work across water and wastewater systems with multiple teams.
• Act as Veolia process expert and liaison for treatment processes.
• Provide process support and troubleshooting to clients as required.
• Identify and apply new technologies and solutions to opportunities.
• Carry out concept designs and evaluate treatment processes.
• Complete detailed process design on live projects as needed.
• Support Veolia sites in identifying and implementing efficiency projects.
• Work with design teams including process, mechanical, electrical, automation and civil disciplines.
• Manage relationships with external suppliers and clients.
• Comply with site Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
