Job summary

Chubb Fire & Security is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to perform preventative maintenance, testing and fault-finding on life safety systems across Dublin and Cork. You will service Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers up to €60K per year (DoE) plus on-call and overtime, with 20 days holiday, pension, life assurance and a curated benefits

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with life safety systems or similar fire alarm/detection equipment.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits as scheduled.
• Inspect, test, service and maintain Fire Alarm & Detection systems, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection, and Disabled Refuge/ EVCS.
• Diagnose faults and perform first-fix repairs where possible.
• Document test records, deficiency reports and recommendations after each visit.
