Job summary

Chubb Ireland Fire is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to support life safety systems across Dublin, including Fire Alarm and Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, inspections, testing and fault-finding with a view to first-fix repairs where possible.

The role emphasizes strong customer focus, accurate documentation and clear communication of findings to clients.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits in accordance with service schedules and contractual requirements
• Inspect, test, service, and maintain: Fire Alarm & Detection systems, Emergency Lighting systems, Gas Detection systems and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems
• Diagnose faults efficiently and undertake first-fix repairs where possible
• Identify non-compliances, equipment defects, end-of-life issues, and system performance concerns, and clearly communicate findings to the customer and internal teams
• Produce accurate service documentation, test records, deficiency reports, and recommendations following each visit
