Job summary

Chubb Ireland Fire is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to support life safety systems across Dublin, including Fire Alarm and Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, inspections, testing and fault-finding with a view to first-fix repairs where possible.

The role emphasizes strong customer focus, accurate documentation and clear communication of findings to clients.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits in accordance with service schedules and contractual requirements
• Inspect, test, service, and maintain: Fire Alarm & Detection systems, Emergency Lighting systems, Gas Detection systems and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems
• Diagnose faults efficiently and undertake first-fix repairs where possible
• Identify non-compliances, equipment defects, end-of-life issues, and system performance concerns, and clearly communicate findings to the customer and internal teams
• Produce accurate service documentation, test records, deficiency reports, and recommendations following each visit

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, inspection, testing, fault finding, and minor corrective works on a range of life safety systems including Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection, and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems. This role will cover Dublin. Chubb Fire & Security have been protecting people and assets worldwide for more than 200 years. Salary and Benefits

• SALARY: Up to €60K (DoE) + On call + Overtime 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
