Job summary

CAE is seeking a Team Leader for the Engine Management Services team in Shannon, Ireland. This role will supervise a dedicated team, oversee projects, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality engine management services.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in the industry, solid supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of aviation regulations. Travel to meet customers may be required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years industry experience, preferably in Engine maintenance or technical services.
  • Previous supervisory experience essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of aviation regulations.
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers & suppliers.
  • Ability to manage deadlines with strong project management skills.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the assigned team, including leave, one-to-ones, and career development.
  • Assign projects and manage resources to meet objectives.
  • Lead Engine projects and perform key tasks as part of project teams.
  • Oversee project progress, cost, and quality of deliverables.
  • Define and evolve internal procedures.
  • Support performance management and development with department managers.
  • Utilize industry best practices throughout project execution.
  • Liaise with customers and business development to grow and maintain client base.
  • Assist EMS Leadership in growing department capabilities within budget.
