Job summary

CAE Inc. is seeking a Powerplant Engineer to join the Engine Technical Support Services Department in Ireland.

You will manage powerplants for clients, including engine phase in/out, monitor engine condition, review records, and forecast maintenance needs, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will provide technical support across engine deliveries, redeliveries, base and line maintenance, while coordinating with OEMs such as CFM, IAE, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing and Airbus to resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Engineering Degree or EASA Part 66 license.
  • 2–3 years' experience in an airworthiness/CAMO or fleet management role in an airline or MRO environment.
  • Understanding of EASA Part M, Part CAMO and Part 145 regulation.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience writing or reviewing technical instructions.
  • Computer literate with MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support with engine deliveries, redeliveries, Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance to CAE's Clients.
  • Liaising with OEMs on resolution of technical issues.
  • Managing and executing various other projects as assigned.
