Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking an Afterschool Childcare Assistant in Athboy for maternity cover. This part-time role runs Monday to Friday from 1.55pm to 6:00pm, on-site at local schools to support children after the school day.

You will supervise, help with homework, and lead crafts and games while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience with school-aged children and Garda vetting completed after interview.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with school-aged children.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities
