Job summary

Enable Ireland in Co Clare is seeking highly-motivated Part-time and Relief Adult Home Support Workers to join our team in Ennis. The role provides support to adults with physical disabilities in community and family settings, with evening, weekend and overnight shifts.

You will work as part of a person-centred team, assisting with daily living, accessing social and recreational activities, and supporting service users and families. QQI Level 5 and a driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award in Social Care/Disability/Care skills or related health area.
• One year of experience working with adults with disabilities.
• Full clean driver's license and willingness to drive service transport.
• Eligible to work in the state and basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services to adults with physical disabilities in community and home settings.
• Assist with daily living activities and access to social/recreational activities.
