Job summary

Enable Ireland is seeking motivated Part-time and Relief Adult Home Support Workers to join our team in Ennis, Co Clare. The role provides support to adults with physical disabilities in community and home settings, working with service owners to enable social and daily living activities.

You will be part of a committed team with a QQI Level 5 Major Award and a valid driver’s license to support transport and activities.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Major Award in Social Care/Disability/Care skills or relevant health related area.
• 1 year of experience working with adults with disabilities.
• Full clean driver’s license and willingness to drive service transport.
• Be eligible to work in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services to adults with physical disabilities in a community and home setting.
• Work in community houses in the Ennis area and support individuals in their family home.
• Assist with access to social and recreational activities in the community and daily living tasks.
