Job summary

Vanta is hiring a Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical voice for customers, guiding discovery, validating feasibility, and shaping end-to-end security and compliance solutions across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA frameworks.

The role requires 5+ years in customer-facing, technical roles, with B2B SaaS experience and cloud platform knowledge. You will work in a hybrid Dublin/London setting with in-office days and strong collaboration with the Sales team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer-facing, technical experience in solutions engineering or similar roles.
• B2B SaaS experience preferred and GRC/audit familiarity is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and OS environments.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Ruby, Bash, JavaScript) and REST API familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic sales partner, owning the technical relationship with prospects and customers.
• Conduct strategic discovery and deal qualification with Account Executives to uncover pain points and validate use cases.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations showing how Vanta solves customer problems and integrates with their environments.
• Guide stakeholders toward a shared vision for end-to-end solutions and success criteria.
• Collaborate with Sales to shape deals, surface technical risks, and plan delivery paths.
• Ensure smooth post-sale handoff to the post-sales team with a detailed solution design document.
• Provide market feedback to Product to prioritize functionality and drive opportunities.
• Support customers through trial processes and advocate for customer success.
