Job summary

TikTok is seeking an EMEA Payroll Compliance Manager to join its HR Operations team in Dublin. The role focuses on delivering core employment tax reporting, compliance tasks, and advisory support to internal stakeholders across EMEA.

You will design frameworks, monitor regulatory updates, and drive process improvements in payroll, tax, and reporting while collaborating with Legal, HR Tech, and Product teams. A strong background in payroll compliance and tax is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years extensive hands on experience in EMEA payroll and tax related compliance.
• Experience undertaking internal risk reviews covering payroll compliance is essential.
• Experience leading payroll tax audits and resolving complex tax issues.
• Knowledge of EMEA payroll and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement EMEA-wide payroll compliance frameworks with country-specific depth and regional consistency.
• Proactively monitor payroll compliance and regulatory updates at a regional level and update policies accordingly.
• Ensure payroll operations comply with labor, tax and other laws.
• Develop and maintain country-level payroll compliance whitepapers.
• Translate regulatory changes into country-specific operational guidance and system improvements.
• Provide payroll compliance input to system development and automation.
• Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Partner with HR Technology, Product Team and Legal to enhance payroll systems.
• Manage audits, compliance reviews and regulatory enquiries across the region.
