Job summary

MetLife Ireland is seeking a Manager, Information Security – Identity & Access Management, for the EMEA region. The role provides regional oversight of IAM operations, aligning with global standards and coordinating with country and business-unit IT teams to ensure effective access controls.

You will manage day-to-day IAM activities, drive regional IAM projects, remediate gaps, and push continuous improvement across governance, authentication, and privileged access management while interacting

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Information Security, IT Risk or IAM in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of IAM models, access governance, and SoD.
• Experience with multi-country IAM operations and regional coordination.
• Translate standards and audits into practical controls and remediation plans.
• Excellent written/spoken English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional oversight of IAM operations across EMEA.
• Ensure adherence to global IAM standards and controls.
• Lead IAM projects and regional rollouts.
• Drive continuous improvement of identity governance and access certification.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, risk, compliance, and audit teams.
• Remediate access control gaps and manage SoD and RBAC processes.
• Govern RBAC, SoD, and privileged account management with stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, elevate risks, and report governance metrics.
• Leverage approved AI tools to improve efficiency with oversight.
