Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a Go-to-Market Planning & Operations Associate Director, EMEA to partner with the Head of EMEA Marketing. You will lead regional planning, govern investment across EMEA and provide analysis to shape priorities and capacity decisions.

You'll set up and run the programme office establishing how EMEA marketing operates, working with market, regional and global teams to clarify responsibilities, budgets and access to global capabilities. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, finance, economics, or equivalent.
• Typically eight or more years in operations, go-to-market ops, programme management, chief of staff or strategy consulting.
• Experience setting up a programme office and operating rhythm across several countries.
• Experience designing operating models across global, regional and local teams.
• Experience running budget governance across business units with separate budgets.
• Experience advising senior leaders independently with strong judgment.
• Fluent English; another European language would be useful.
• European travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and quarterly EMEA marketing planning, integrating global priorities with regional plans.
• Set criteria for weighing demands and advise where to invest, deprioritise or pivot.
• Represent EMEA requirements in global planning and investment discussions.
• Maintain a consolidated view of marketing investment, resources, capacity and risk.
• Design funding approaches for cross-market marketing activity with Global Marketing Operations.
• Oversee budgeting approvals across EMEA and track spend against plans.
• Set up and run the programme office establishing EMEA marketing as a regional function.
• Define operating model and ensure cross-team collaboration across market/global teams.
