Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an EHS Specialist to lead Environment, Health and Safety across the EMEA region, collaborating with regional teams and the US EHS Lead. You will own onsite inspections, hazard assessments, and occupational health case management while adapting global standards to UK, Irish, and EU regulations.

You will co-author regionally tuned programs, support fire safety compliance, and drive training and reporting across EMEA.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in an EHS role leading a region
• Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland EHS frameworks (HSE, HSA)
• Experience with fire safety regulation and compliance across Europe
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear decisions
• Commitment to developing region-specific EHS programs

Responsibilities

• Own EHS execution across EMEA sites, including inspections and risk assessments
• Investigate workplace incidents and manage occupational health cases
• Lead health and safety committees and emergency response alignment
• Co-build EMEA versions of core EHS programs for multiple EU jurisdictions
• Coordinate with EHS Lead in the US and in-region teams
• Deliver and coordinate EHS training for EMEA employees
