Job summary

European Tech Recruit is partnering with a multinational semiconductor tech company in Cork to hire an Embedded RTOS Software Engineer. You will join the Core Platform Kernel Software team delivering RTOS software across subsystems on chips used in Mobile Handset, XR, Compute, Automotive, Cloud AI and IoT markets.

You will contribute to RTOS blocks, collaborate across teams, and apply knowledge in DSP trends, machine learning, and secure software practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on RTOS development experience; Zephyr RTOS preferred.
• Strong C/C++ and assembly skills for ARM/RISC-V/Hexagon.
• Experience with embedded software security and secure development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop small blocks and assist in larger features for RTOS platforms.
• Identify and help resolve architecture/design issues across subsystems.
• Collaborate with teams and participate in design reviews to meet specs, performance, and power targets.
