Job summary

A global leader in semiconductor and wireless technology is seeking talented Software Engineers to join its Core Platform Software Development team in Cork.

You will work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to define product and software architecture, integrate drivers, and triage issues. This onsite role focuses on software integration, debugging, and delivering robust core platform software for current and future products.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with software integration, source control, and testing.
• Proficient in real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Proficient in C, C++, and assembly.
• Familiar with scripting (Python, Perl).
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional software teams to verify features and debug stability issues.
• Design and develop scalable build system software and tools for generating image flavours.
• Work with Hardware and Systems Engineering to meet power and performance KPIs.
• Partner with program management to develop roadmaps and delivery plans to reduce time to market.
• Perform image and system-level sanity testing.
