Fin, now part of Salesforce, is on a mission to help businesses deliver perfect customer experiences. As a Forward Deployed Data Scientist, you will embed with customers to build enterprise-grade Fin deployments and transform how they scale AI-powered support.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to apply data science in real-world business contexts to drive measurable outcomes.
• Strong collaboration across Sales, Success, Product, and Engineering.
• High adaptability and ownership: shift between deep analysis and strategic framing.
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
• Rapid prototyping with systems thinking; know when to build reusable solutions.
• Strong SQL and production-aware Python; code others can run.
• Experience with AI/ML evaluation, LLM-driven apps, or conversational AI.
• Willing to travel and work on-site with customers to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Fin by helping customers automate and scale support operations.
• Embed with strategic customers to map workflows and identify AI opportunities.
• Guide customers to best practices in measurement and AI adoption.
• Partner with Sales, Success, and Product for seamless deployments and feedback loops.
• Prototype and scale data-driven solutions to accelerate Fin adoption.
