Job summary

Dornan Group in Athlone, Co. Westmeath, seeks experienced Electricians to support a Pharmaceutical project and join our growing engineering team. The role focuses on electrical installations, containment, and safety on site.

The successful candidate will have proven electrical experience in construction or pharma projects, with essential safety certifications and a commitment to high standards. Permanent position based in Athlone.

Qualifications

• Electrical CraftCertificate is essential.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling and Working at heights and IPAF required.
• Proven experience as an Electrician within the engineering, construction, or MEP sector.
• Experience working on construction, pharmaceutical or industrial projects.
• Install power distribution systems.
• Complete cable routing, tray installation, trunking, and containment systems.
• Install conduits and wiring.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Adhere to site safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.

Dornan Engineering Group is aleading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in Athlone, Co.Westmeath, this is an excitingopportunity to join our growing Dornan team as an Electrician,supporting the delivery of our Pharmaceutical project. Due to thecontinuous growth with Dornan Engineering, we are currently looking looking to recruit experienced Electricians to join the company on exciting projects. You will joinDornan's hard working andambitious project teams and you will benefit from a supportive culture, where your ideas and contributions will be recognised.

Your day to day will include:

• Electrical Services Installations
• Cable Tray & Containment Installation
• Cable Pulling &Terminating
• Earthing Systems
• Glanding &Terminating Steel Wire
• Installing Light & Small Power Systems

About you

• Proven experience as an Electrician within the engineering, construction, or MEP sector.
• Experience working on construction, pharmaceutical or industial projects
• Install power distribution systems
• Complete cable routing, tray installation, trunking, and containment systems
• Installconduits and wiring
• Adhere to site safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Maintain safe working practices in hazardous environments
• Use correct PPE and ensure safe isolation of circuits
• Experience working on Industrial & Commercial orPharmaceutical projects
• Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills
