Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Foreman /Supervisor on large-scale industrial, pharmaceutical, data centre, or process projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pipework, HVAC, and process installations.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate subcontractors in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
• Safe Pass and relevant trade qualification
• Experience working within pharmaceutical or highly regulated environments is desirable.
• Position based on Pharmaceutical project in Dublin

Responsibilities

• Supervising mechanical trades and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and on schedule.
• Coordinating daily site activities and allocating work across mechanical crews.
• Monitoring quality of installations and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Conducting toolbox talks, safety briefings, and promoting a strong safety culture on site.
• Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers, QA/QC teams, and other disciplines to ensure effective project delivery.
• Reviewing drawings and resolving technical issues in collaboration with the project team.
• Tracking progress and reporting on productivity, resource requirements, and site activities.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Dornan's health, safety, and quality procedures.

Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, the UK & Ireland. Based in Dublin, this is an excitingopportunity to join our growing Mechanical Construction Team as a Mechanical Mechanical Foreman / Supervisor , supporting the delivery of a major pharmaceutical project.
