Job summary

Activ8 Solar Energies are seeking qualified Electricians to install & commission domestic Solar PV systems. Based in Cashel, Co. Tipperary, this full-time role includes training and a competitive salary with bonus, pension and healthcare.

You will install solar panels and electrical components, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, test performance, and ensure safety compliance on residential projects. Excellent communication and team work are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician ideally with 3+ years domestic experience.
• Live within a commutable distance of Cashel, Co. Tippe­rary.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Test & Verification certification would be an advantage.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and electrical components according to Safe electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.
• Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
• Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

The Opportunity:

As a Solar Electrician you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems primarily on residential properties. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.

Schedule:
