Activ8 Solar Energies is seeking qualified Electricians to install and commission domestic Solar PV systems from our Cashel location in County Tipperary. This is a full-time permanent role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will install solar panels and electrical components, conduct inspections and testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards. A minimum of 3 years domestic experience and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician ideally with 3+ years domestic experience.
• Live within a commutable distance of Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Test & Verification certification would be an advantage.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
• Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.

• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

The Opportunity:

As a Solar Electrician you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems primarily on residential properties. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday - Typically 1 Installation per day.
