Job summary

Activ8 Solar Energies is seeking a Solar PV Installer to join our Ballinasloe installations team. You will install solar PV systems on residential buildings and ground-mounted setups, with 6 weeks of industry-specific training provided.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary, bonus, pension and healthcare. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years' roofing or cladding experience, solar experience is a plus, and you must be able to work at heights and travel within commutable distance of

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Roofer or in Cladding/Industrial glazing.
• Previous solar experience is desirable
• Must live within a commutable distance of Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.
• Experience working at heights with a harness.
• Ability to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and on-site safety management.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills and a positive attitude for dealing with customers.

• Ensure deadlines are met for upcoming installations and projects.
• Engage with customers and provide information and advice on work being undertaken.

About the role

The Opportunity:

As a Solar PV Installer you will be responsible for the installation of our Solar PV Systems on residential buildings & ground mounted systems. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.

Schedule:
