Activ8 Solar Energies is seeking a qualified Electrician to install and commission residential Solar PV systems from our Carrickmacross base. This full-time role includes a six-week training program and ongoing safety-focused projects.

The Opportunity

As a Solar Electrician you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems primarily on residential properties. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.

Responsibilities Include

Install solar panels and electrical components according to Safe electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.
Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.
Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
