Job summary

Activ8 Energies in Cashel, Co. Tipperary, is seeking a Solar PV Installer to join our installations team. You will install solar PV systems on residential buildings and ground-mounted sites, with six weeks of industry-specific training provided.

The role requires hands-on skills as a Roofer or related trades, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work with customers to explain work carried out. We offer a competitive salary, pension, private health insurance and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Roofer or in Cladding/Industrial glazing.
• Previous solar experience is desirable.
• Must live within a commutable distance of Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
• Experience working at heights with a harness.

• Ensure deadlines are met for upcoming installations and projects.
• Engage with customers and provide information and advice on work being undertaken.

About the role

The Opportunity:

As a Solar PV Installer you will be responsible for the installation of our Solar PV Systems on residential buildings & ground mounted systems. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training.

Responsibilities Include:

• Install Solar Panels on residential homes to the highest of standards.

• Ensuredeadlines are met for upcoming installations and projects.

• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.

• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Roofer or have previous experience in Cladding/Industrial glazing.

• Previous solar experience is desirable

• Must live within a commutable distance of Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

• Previous experience working at heights with a the use of a harness.

• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and control Health and Safety aspects on site.

• Excellent organisational and planning skills along with a positive attitude for dealing with customers.

Schedule:
