Job summary

C&D Foods Edgeworthstown is seeking a Shift Electrical Technician to maintain and repair production machinery and plant services on a 12-hour continental shift pattern. The role starts on day shift for onboarding (Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, Fri 8am-3pm) before transitioning to Nights, with PLC troubleshooting, electrical cabinets, sensors and GMP compliance central to daily work.

• Must hold a Senior Trades or NFQ electrical qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and PLCs is essential.
• Ability to work on 12-hour continental shifts with onboarding on days.

Responsibilities

• Undertake preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and plant services.
• Work with PLC systems (Siemens/Allen-Bradley), electrical cabinets and sensors.
• Support GMP, safety and quality compliance in daily operations.
