Job summary

Cpl is partnering with a Grangecastle, Dublin 22 food production facility to recruit two Electrical Maintenance Technicians. The role covers maintenance across production and packaging in a 24/7 operation, contributing to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates will hold recognised electrical/automation qualifications with 3–5 years in a high-speed manufacturing setting, plus CMMS and PLC/SCADA experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical, Electronic, or Automation qualification (essential).
• 3–5 years’ experience in a medium-to-high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food, beverage, or FMCG production advantageous.
• Proven experience working with PLC, SCADA, and Industrial IT systems (Siemens desirable).
• Experience using CMMS systems for planning, recording, and tracking maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimise downtime.
• Perform statutory and electrical compliance checks, and support planned shutdown maintenance.
• Record all maintenance activities using CMMS, ensuring reporting and traceability.
• Identify and implement improvements to PM schedules and asset care routines.
• Support capital and engineering projects as required.
• Work with Production and Engineering teams to optimise performance, yield and reliability.
