Job summary

Electrical Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 M&E Contractor delivering a major Data Centre Project in Germany. This is a senior-level commercial role offering full ownership of electrical packages from tender through to final account on large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Full cradle-to-grave commercial management of electrical packages
• Prepare and manage budgets, BOQs, profit plans, valuations, and cost reports
• Manage subcontractor accounts including payments, variations, retentions, and final accounts
• Submit accurate monthly applications including remeasures, claims, dayworks, and variations
• Identify and manage commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Attend and lead commercial meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Work closely with Planning teams to align programme progress with commercial reporting

Requirements

• Strong experience working as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor at Senior level
• Degree qualified or trade background with relevant commercial experience preferred
• Excellent knowledge of electrical contracts and commercial processesExperience managing subcontractors, client relationships, and commercial negotiations
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
