Job summary

HireHive in Galway is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical installation projects from contract award through to final handover. You will manage multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality, programme, profitability and client satisfaction.

Essential requirements include a Qualified Electrician or Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience on commercial electrical projects, and excellent knowledge of Irish regulations.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience managing commercial electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations.
• Excellent knowledge of Irish regulations.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Manage projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Develop and maintain project programmes.
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical and main contractor interfaces.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Chair weekly project meetings.
• Monitor labour productivity and programme performance.
