A well-established and growing electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join its Dublin team.

Your New Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical packages from pre-construction and procurement through installation, commissioning and final handover.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing electrical projects from initial planning through to completion and handover.
- Leading Electrical Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, trades and subcontractors.
- Developing and managing project programmes, key milestones and short-term look-ahead schedules.
- Overseeing electrical installations including LV distribution, containment, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm and associated systems.
- Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, schematics and technical documentation.
- Managing technical submittals, RFIs, material approvals and design changes.
- Coordinating electrical services with mechanical, architectural and structural disciplines.
- Working closely with BIM teams to resolve coordination and constructability issues.
- Managing procurement and monitoring long-lead equipment and materials.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and specialist vendors.
- Managing labour requirements, resources and productivity throughout the project.
- Monitoring progress against the construction programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
- Working closely with commercial teams on budgets, variations, forecasting and cost control.
- Managing project risks and resolving technical and programme issues.
- Chairing and attending client, progress and coordination meetings.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and main contractors.
- Overseeing QA/QC, inspections and snagging.
- Managing testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensuring O&M manuals, certification and as-built information are completed.
- Driving projects through successful completion and client handover.
- Ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, quality and workmanship throughout delivery.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Degree, trade qualification or relevant technical background in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Project Engineer.
- Strong experience delivering significant electrical packages within the construction industry.
- Electrical or M&E contractor experience is highly desirable.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical building services and installation practices.
- Experience managing projects from procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.
- Proven ability to manage Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors and trades.
- Strong programme, procurement and resource-management experience.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, variations and project costs.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong leadership, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
