Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a Tier 1 Main Contractor working on a large-scale Data Centre project in North Dublin. The role focuses on delivering electrical packages safely, on time and to budget, with strong coordination across multiple teams.

You will oversee day-to-day electrical delivery, manage subcontractors, and drive progress reporting, while adhering to QA/QC and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Project Management on large-scale construction projects.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or relevant trade).
• Experience delivering electrical packages for Data Centres is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of electrical works, ensuring safety, quality, programme and budget targets.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and client teams during installation and commissioning.
• Monitor progress, procurement, labour resources and project risks with corrective actions.
• Lead site meetings, provide progress updates and maintain project reporting and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical standards, QA/QC procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning and final handover activities.

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of electrical works, ensuring safety, quality, programme, and budget targets are achieved.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and client teams throughout installation and commissioning phases.
• Monitor project progress, procurement, labour resources, and key project risks, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Lead site meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain project reporting and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical standards, QA/QC procedures, and health & safety requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover activities to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or relevant trade background.
• 5+ years' experience in Electrical Project Management on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience delivering electrical packages for Data Centre advantageous.
• Experience working with an M&E Contractor or Main Contractor in Ireland, the UK, or mainland Europe.
