Qualifications

• Level 6 Electrical Trades Certificate is highly desirable and PLC/MCC panel building experience is essential.
• Familiarity with electrical controls, AC/DC motors, servo motors, inverters, panel equipment, drives and pneumatics.
• Experience with Eplan P8, Eplan Pro Panel and AutoCAD Electrical is an advantage.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and controls methodologies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of robotics, automation principles and safety standards is an advantage.
• Ambitious, confident and professional with strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for PLC/MCC control panel build processes.
• Detail electrical schematics and processes for build.
• Execute 2D & 3D electrical designs for complex automation projects.
• Source electrical components for designs.
• Create test plans and documentation packs for developed designs.
• Assist in electrical debugging of systems.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers.
• Team player who fits within a team of professionals.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Take ownership of projects.
• Role may involve a small amount of travel from time to time.
• Carry out customer FATs, on-site SATs and supporting documentation.
