Job description
This role will be responsible for building panels to a high standard, following technical drawings and ensuring accuracy across all wiring and components.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly and wiring of electrical control panels
Work from schematic diagrams, wiring drawings, and panel layouts
Install and wire components such as:
Relays
Contactors
Terminal blocks
PLC components (where applicable)
Carry out panel testing, fault finding, and modifications
Ensure all builds meet quality and safety standards
Maintain neat and organised wiring to a high standard
Work closely with supervisors and engineering teams
Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
Requirements
Fully qualified electrician (Irish or recognised equivalent)
Experience working in a panel shop or similar environment
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Experience with control panel wiring and assembly
Currently a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice
Panel wiring, panel shop, or switchgear experience is highly desirable
