Electrical Package Manager (Portugal)

Electrical Package Manager required to work for one of Europe’s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on a large Data Centre project in Sines, Portugal. Reporting to the Electrical Project Manager, the Electrical Package Manager will be responsible for managing the electrical package end-to-end, coordinating design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning while overseeing teams, ensuring safety and quality, and delivering on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Management of a specific Electrical Systems Package for the project.
• Management of Electrical QAQC in line with project QA Manager.
• Management of design consultants and electrical contractors.
• Programming, planning, coordinating and reporting of all electrical activities relating to the package.
• Ensure compliance with programme, materials, quality and safety issues.
• To manage and drive a large team to meet all project requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Ensure project profitability.
• Tracking the project progress.

Requirements

• Relevant Engineering Degree or Trade qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with proven experience managing major electrical projects.
• Skilled in overseeing large-scale installations, controlling scope, schedule, and budget.
• Data Centre experience is highly beneficial.
• IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
